Air expanding shaft is used to grip paper core for winding and unwinding. It is actuated by air, when injecting air pressure, then keys will expanded out to hold paper core. As usually, this air expanding shaft is matched with flange pillow safety chuck, NAB DBK pneumatic brake for working together. They are used for roller material tension control.

This air expanding shaft is customized, its diameter can be made with 3", 4", 5", 6", 7", 8", 9", 10", 11", 12" and other size. Length of air shaft can be design and made as customers' drawing. It is an easy and safe working shaft.
